One of my favorite Saturday activities is to visit the Arts & Crafts Market at Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco which is filled with local artists. I have bought several amazing pieces at this market and a couple months ago I came across a jewelry designer, Carrie Saxl. Even though I love junky jewelry, I was taken with all of her pieces and I ended up buying a gorgeous and unique necklace from her. With spring here and summer not too far away, I think her pieces will complement any outfit and also makes a great gift (especially the initial jewelry from her silhouette collection). Of course being a bird lover, I love the birds on a branch piece (hint, hint). So, if you like this type of jewelry, I would definitely check out her website or if you are in SF on a Saturday, stop by the Arts & Crafts Market and see if she is there.
